PCC Technology Inc. (PCC), a leading government software provider, announced today that it has introduced major upgrades to their ElectioNet suite of voter registration and election administration software.

Upgrades include improvements to the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) while more robust features were added for customizable voter notices, messaging between states and jurisdictions, absentee and overseas voter management, and for managing poll workers and polling places. New GIS capabilities for handling voters, districts, and precincts were also added. Several of these GIS features are now available to the voting public in the Online Voter Registration (OLVR) and My Voter Portal (MVP) products.

OLVR and MVP provide mobile friendly public access to voter and election information for states who want to further empower their citizens. New features include GIS driving directions to polling places and election offices, voter address updates and absentee ballot requests, and information on upcoming elections and elected officials. Public users can even see who is on the statewide ballot or volunteer as a poll worker.

States can now meet the needs of counties with three levels of GIS support. For counties on the cutting edge, full GIS district and precinct management capabilities are available. Other counties may opt for GIS address verification for voter, polling place, and election offices. And counties that are not ready for GIS features will still benefit from the new features rolled out this year.
